First Thursday: February 2nd & March 1st Guero's Taco Bar 1412 S. Congress Ave (at Elizabeth) Austin, TX On the first Thursday of each month in Austin, TX artisans of all kinds come out to display their wares to the public in an astounding event known as "first thursday". Starting in the early evening and lingering until late night, all are invited to stroll up and down South Congress avenue known for its independent businesses and style savvy. Be prepared to see just about anything from the "Volkswagen parade" to hand-crafted goodies by local artists. I happen to participate in this monthly romp and encourage you to do the same. You can find me in the parking lot of Guero's taco bar. Its located at Elizabeth & South Congress avenue. So come by, say hello and see what Ive got going on each month. You will love it! |
